Title : ASSESSMENT OF PRODUCT STABILITY FOR AYURVEDIC FORMULATIONS CASE STUDIES USING PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PROTOCOLS
Abstract : An attempt to evaluate product stability for one CHURNA and its correlating tablet dosage form, a proprietary syrup formulation and a topical formulation based on Ayurveda has been dealt with. Accelerated stability conditions were adopted as per ICH guidelines. Physicochemical protocols including identification and quantification of markers were employed to analyze these samples at prescribed time intervals. The observations of above accelerated stability studies for above four formulations will be presented as case studies, to illustrate the utility of physicochemical protocols for this purpose.
