Title : THE AMELIORATING EFFECTS OF THE COGNITIVE-ENHANCING CHINESE HERBS ON SCOPOLAMINE-INDUCED AMNESIA IN RATS
Abstract : Of the ten Chinese herbs administered orally for weeks- Panax ginseng, (PG), Panox notoginseng (PNG),Dioscorea opposita (VARAHI BH.) (DO), Gastrodia elata (GE), Salvia miltiorrhita (SM), Acorus gramineus (AG), Coptis chinensis (CC), Polygonum multiflorum (PM), Cyperus rotundus (MUSTAKAM ) (CR) and Psoralea corylifolia (BAKUCHI) (PC) only PG, PNG, GE and CC prolonged the scopolamine (SCOP) shortened STL.
