Abstract :      Twenty patients affected by essential hypertension were treated with Tagara Mula Churna (Valeriana wallichi (TAGARA)i) 5 gm BD, with lukewarm water for 30-40 days. The results were encouraging in the cases of mild essential hypertension and were found to be statistically significant.
