Abstract : CHUNDAIVATTRAL CHURNAM contains Chundaivattral (Solanum torvum (BRIHATI BH.)) as a main ingredient and is recommended for the treatment of diarrhea in Siddha literature. About 25 cases were included in this study and majority of them responded well and 25 percent gave only mild response. The pathological investigation of stool was done before and after treatment to rule out worms infestation and other infections responsible for causing diarrhea.
