Title :   QUALITY REQUIREMENTS FOR HERBAL MEDICINAL PRODUCTS
Abstract :        The quality requirements for herbal medicinal products concern growing and harvest of plant material, drying conditions, the use of pesticides - determined by GAP. For herbal medicines there are GMP directives, extended by the data concerning "active pharmaceutical substances". The raw material, preparations and finished products must have a specification to assure the reproduction of quality, but the methods of specification and control should take into consideration the PhE data. The stability control of active substances and finished products should be conducted according to valid directives.
