Abstract :      Trial of indigenous preparation from Coccinia indica (BIMBI) leaves was conducted in 30 non insulin dependent (NIDDM)diabetic patients. The drugs were found to exert protective influence against hyperlipidemia along with the control of hyperglycemia.
