Abstract : Geraniol, olivetol, cannabinoids and 5-fluorouracil, active constituents of Cannabis saliva were tested for their growth inhibitory effects against human oral epitheloid carcinoma cell lines and fibroblasts using two different3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazoliumbromide assay and sulforhodamine B protein assay. Cannabigerol exhibited the highest growth-inhibitory activity against the cancer cell lines.
