Title : ANALYTICAL STUDY OF TALISADYA CHUNRNA.
Abstract : The analytical data of TALISADYA CHURNA, an Ayurvedic formulation prepared from TWAK (Cinnamomum sp.) ELA (Elettaria cardamomum (ELA )), Pippali (Piper longum (PIPPALI)), Marica (Piper nigrum (MARICHA)), Sunthi (Zingiber officinale (AARDRAKA)), Talisa (Taxus baccata (TALISA)) Bambusa bambos and Sarkara (Sugar) has been presented. Thin layer chromatographic patterns have been evolved for identifying the presence of the herbal ingredients along with the general parameters like loss on drying, ash value, water and alcohol soluble extractives, volatile oil content, sugar and silica content etc .
