Title :  ANALGESIC HERBAL EXTRACTS: A PRELIMINARY STUDY
Abstract :      Analgesic herbal extracts mentioned in Caraka samhita (Chapter 4) was examined. 10 Plants useful in different kinds of body pains have been mentioned. Their botanical and English names, morphology, flowering time, occurrence, Ayurvedic properties, parts used and medicinal uses have been given. These plants can be used as single remedy or in combination to cure body aches.
