Title :  SAVE ENVIRONMENT-SAVE MEDICINAL TREES-SEARCH HARMLESS FORMULAE.
Abstract :      Formulas of drugs containing leaves and bark, heartwood, root and stems of plants and prescribed in 23 different ailments have been described. Plant-saving and plant-damaging formulas have been enlisted separately. Different kinds of preparations using leaves for herbs have been tabulated. Use of plants in different diseases as mentioned in 17 Sanskrit texts have been enumerated. Botanical names of 52 plants whose leaves are mainly used and those of 64 plants whose roots, root-bark, stembark and heartwood etc are used, are enlisted separately.
