Title : EFFECT OF MORINGA OLEIFERA LAM ON PARACETAMOL-INDUCED HEPATOTOXICITY
Abstract : Aqueous and alcoholic extracts of root and flower of M. oleifera (SIGRU) were screened for antihepatotoxic activity in paracetamol treated albino rats. Liver function was assessed based on liver to body weight ratio, serum levels of transaminase (SGPT, SGOT), alkaline phosphatese (SALP) and bilirubin. All extracts were found to have antihepatotoxic activity.
