Title :  EFFECT OF ANETHOLE ON ACCESSARY SEX TISSUE OF ALBINO RATS.
Abstract :      Anethole, a major constituent of the Foeniculum vulgare (Misreya) was administered  at two doses, i.e., 10 mg.(low) and 50 mg. (high)/100 g. body weight intramuscularly for 7 days.  While both doses caused a significant decrease in dorsolateral prostate weight, high dose alone was effective in reducing the coagulating gland weight.  Fructose concentrations were significantly decreased in both tissues after both low and high dose anethole treatment.
