Title : DIURETIC ACTIVITY OF AQUEOUS EXTRACT OF ORTHOSIPHON THYMIFLORUS IN RATS.
Abstract : Efficacy of aqueous extract of Orthosiphon thymiflorus (Arjaka) tested for diuretic activity in rats has been discussed. The extract given orally did not act as an aquaretic. The values of urine volume were only slightly elevated. The ion excretion was considerably increased.
